E-sign disclosure and consent

Effective September 26, 2026

Please read this before you agree to sign electronically in ChatFill. It explains what you are agreeing to and what you need.

1. What this covers

ChatFill PDF ("ChatFill") is a product of Edenville Labs LLC. People use ChatFill to sign documents electronically and to send documents to others to sign. This disclosure applies when you sign or receive a document through ChatFill, whether you have a ChatFill account or someone sent you a signing link.

The person or company that sent you a document ("the sender") may be required by law to give you some documents or notices in writing. By agreeing to this disclosure, you agree to receive and sign them electronically instead of on paper.

2. What you are agreeing to

When you check the consent box and sign, you agree:

  • to use an electronic signature instead of signing on paper;
  • to receive the document, reminders, notices and your copy of the signed document electronically, by email and in your web browser; and
  • that your electronic signature can have the same legal effect as your handwritten signature under the U.S. ESIGN Act and state law.

If someone sent you the document, your consent covers that document and the emails about it. If you have a ChatFill account, your consent covers the documents you sign in ChatFill until you withdraw it.

3. Your right to a paper copy

You can get a paper copy of any document you sign in ChatFill:

  • print the signed PDF from the link in the email you receive when signing is done; or
  • ask the sender for a paper copy.

Edenville Labs does not charge for copies. A sender may have their own terms for paper copies. If you need help getting your copy, email support@chatfillpdf.com.

4. How to withdraw your consent

Before you sign, you can decline on the signing page and give a reason. Then tell the sender you want to sign on paper instead.

After you sign, withdrawing consent does not undo a signature you already gave. It applies to documents you have not signed yet.

To withdraw consent in general, email support@chatfillpdf.com and tell us. You can also tell the sender directly.

There is no fee to withdraw consent. If you withdraw, the sender may need to send you documents on paper, which can take longer.

5. What you need

To sign and keep your documents electronically, you need:

  • a phone, tablet or computer with an internet connection;
  • a current web browser with JavaScript turned on (we test the signing page in Chrome; if the page does not work in your browser, try Chrome);
  • an email address you can check;
  • an app that opens PDF files, to view, save or print your copy; and
  • a printer, or a way to save files, if you want to keep a copy outside your email.

By agreeing, you confirm that you can open and read this disclosure, which shows that your device meets these needs. If these needs change in a way that could stop you from getting your documents, we will tell you.

6. Keeping your contact details up to date

Signing requests and copies go to your email address, so keep it up to date.

  • If someone sent you a document, tell the sender your new email address so they can send the request there.
  • If you have a ChatFill account, email support@chatfillpdf.com from your old address, or tell us both addresses, and we will help you change it.

7. Contact us
